The Jaipur – Carved Teak Wood Side Table
Meet The Jaipur – a beautifully slender side table with just enough decorative detail to make even the smallest corner feel rather special.
Crafted from unfinished teak wood, Jaipur combines an elegant rectangular top with beautifully carved detailing and turned legs, giving it the character of a piece you might have discovered tucked away in an Indian antiques market.
Look a little closer and you'll find one of our favourite details – the lower shelf has a gorgeous woven cane-style panel, adding texture and a relaxed handcrafted feel to the warm natural timber.
At 69cm tall and only 44cm wide, Jaipur's narrow proportions make it particularly useful beside a sofa or armchair, where there's often not quite enough space for a conventional side table. It's also lovely as a bedside table, lamp table or small hallway table.
Style the top with a beautiful lamp, a stack of books and a favourite plant, then use the lower shelf for a basket or a few carefully chosen treasures.
Because the teak is supplied unfinished, the natural grain and tonal variations remain beautifully visible, giving each piece its own individual character.
Small footprint. Beautiful details. Very difficult not to find somewhere for it.
